FIVE restaurants and cafes under Denbighshire Leisure Ltd have been awarded a five star hygiene rating by food standards agency.
1891 Restaurant and Bar at Rhyl Pavilion, The Rainforest Diner at SC2 Rhyl, Café R in Ruthin, Beach Hut at Nova Prestatyn and Café 21 at North Wales Bowls Centre have all received the top rating.
Jamie Groves, managing Director at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said: “We’re thrilled to have received five star ratings across the company restaurant and hospitality portfolio, which includes – 1891 Restaurant and Bar at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, SC2 Rhyl; Beach Hut Nova; and Café R in Ruthin. As well as enjoying our delightful dishes, our guests can have full confidence in the high food hygiene standards that go into preparing them.
“It’s no surprise to us as we know how much effort our staff put into their work, and the emphasis they place on compliance. We invest as a company in our infrastructure, staff training and systems to meet all required standards, but this is truly a testament to all the hard work our staff put into their roles, to maintain the Denbighshire Leisure Ltd standards across all of our restaurants and cafes.”
The awards come following unannounced visits by Environmental Health who inspect the kitchens; food preparation and cooking; food hygiene systems and associated records.
