The Town of Cobourg’s community services division has launched its new 2022 Fall and Winter Leisure Guide outlining the many cultural and recreational programs in the community.
The leisure guide is Cobourg’s community source for arts, culture and recreational activities featuring a variety of registered and drop-in programs. The leisure guide showcases programs and activities available for all age groups including children, youth, adults and older adults during the fall and winter months.
“We are excited to present this updated leisure guide for our community,” said Brian Geerts, director of community services. “We hope residents enjoy reading through the guide and keeping it close at hand to connect with the hundreds of wonderful recreation and cultural opportunities in Cobourg.”
Information in the guide is organized into categories including arts and culture; recreation and programming; and groups/clubs and associations. A new addition is a town guide to address commonly asked resident questions and provide guidance when searching for information on town services.
The leisure guide was delivered to Cobourg homes in the Oct. 13 edition of the Northumberland News. Copies are also available in locations around Cobourg including Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Community Centre and the Cobourg Public Library.
An electronic version is also available online at ExperienceCobourg.ca.
