Naruto fans can transform into shinobi in style without leaving their homes, thanks to FaZe Clan’s second collaboration with the anime series.
The hidden villages might be a bit of a trek for Naruto fans, but luckily, the latest FaZe Clan and Naruto collaboration will allow fans to be ninjas in the comfort of their homes.
FaZe Clan, one of the most prominent and influential gaming organizations, has released its second collaboration with the Naruto franchise. Fans can show off their passion for the series with cool new clothing like the Shadow Clone puffer jacket with Naruto in the middle of demonstrating his technique designed all over the front and Kakashi T-shirts and hoodies. FaZe Clan made sure to not only deck out fans in Naruto merch — their gear would be too. The collaboration also includes mouse pads with Naruto designs such as "Valley of the End" and "Rivals" and 3D keycaps for fans to be keyboard shinobi as well.
FaZe Clan, previously known as FaZe Sniping, is a professional esports organization founded in 2010 and based in Los Angeles, California. FaZe sponsors players worldwide who play multiple games, including Call of Duty, PayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Valorant. Its YouTube channel has over 8 million subscribers and over 1 billion views.
FaZe Clan and Naruto first collaborated back in May 2022. Much like the second installment, the first collaboration included T-shirts, hoodies, keycaps, mouse pads and gaming jerseys. As soon as FaZe Clan released the collection, many items quickly sold out. Prior to the first collaboration, Taav Cooperman, FaZe Clan's VP of Marketing, said, "Naruto's cultural footprint is massive — a lot of us at FaZe are fans and grew up watching it as kids and have never stopped loving the brand."
One of the biggest cultural icons in the world, Masashi Kishimoto published his wildly popular manga series in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1999 to 2014, and later bundled into 72 volumes. Studio Pierrot adapted the series into an anime from 2002 to 2007. The sequel, Naruto: Shippuden, aired in 2007 and ended 10 years after with 500 episodes. The franchise recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and released several new pieces of artwork and a special 20th-anniversary trailer. Viz Media released manga adaptations for two Naruto light novels. Sasuke's Story — The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust follows Sasuke's quest to save his best friend, while Konoha's Story — The Steam Ninja Scrolls follows the journey of Kakashi, Mirai and Guy as they search for the hot springs.
Naruto has collaborated with other well-known brands before. The franchise recently teamed up with the luxury goods manufacturer Montblanc for its line of luxury pens, tote bags and smartwatches that takes a chunk out of buyers' wallets. Secretlab and Naruto partnered up to design a pair of gaming chairs fit for the hokage, with one paying homage to Naruto with the iconic fūinjutsu of the Uzumaki clan and the other with the red cloud symbol from the Akatsuki clan.
Fans can be purchased the Naruto and FaZe Clan collection through the FaZe Shop. Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden are available through Hulu, Funimation and Crunchyroll.
